Episode 46

Mike and Josh discuss their first loss in the CFL Podcast Family League, the Ticats humiliating loss to the BC Lions, the many Hamilton roster moves including the release of Geoff Tisdale and the trading of Alex Hoffman-Ellis, the news around the CFL including Shawn Lemon changing teams once again, S.J. Green's season ending injury and the addition of Tyrell Sutton and Henry Burris to their respective team's 6-game injured list. Mike then hands out his second Bozo of the Week award before the boys preview this upcoming week's game between the Ticats and Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Then it is CFL Pick 'Em and listener question time to close out the show.

Episode 45

Mike and Josh start the show by celebrating their big opening week win in the CFL Podcast Family League before leaving the fantasy world and talking about some real football. The boys dig deep into Hamilton's massive win over the Argos last Thursday and then discuss the Ticats' signing of former Notre Dame and Florida State QB Everett Golson. After that, the boys talk about the CFL on TSN's Top 50 list, including where some Ticats ranked and who maybe shouldn't be in the Top 10 or on the list at all. Then we debut our new segment, "Mike's Bozo of the Week" and it goes to a frequent target of Mike's anger. Then we preview this week's game as the Ticats face the BC Lions in their home opener. Then we make our CFL picks and answer three questioners from our loyal listeners.

Episode 44

Mike and Josh kick things off by talking their CFL Podcast fantasy team and the CFL's partnership with Draft Kings. Then it is game review time, as the boys go in-depth into what they liked and didn't like in Hamilton's 42-25 win over the Ottawa Redblacks in their preseason finale. Then it is on to Ticats news, which starts with Zach Collaros' contract extension and news of a possible timetable for his return. Then they look at the team's roster cuts and the additions of a pair of defensive backs, Geoff Tisdale and Dominique Ellis.

Then it is season preview time. The guys make their picks for how each division will play out, who will win each playoff game, pick their Grey Cup champion for 2016 and give some predictions on who will take home the player awards at season's end.

After that, it is game preview time as they talk about what the Ticats will need to do to get the W in Toronto against the Argonauts on Thursday.

This is followed by their game picks, as the boys debut their new segment and announce a partnership with the Oskie Wee Wees Pick 'Em group and share info on how the winner of the group can win a cool Ticats prize pack.

The show ends with some questions from a triumvirate of listeners and Josh making a BOLD declaration that you will not want to miss.

Episode 43

Mike and Josh open the show with Josh giving his thoughts on BMO Field and what it means for the Argos going forward. Then they review Hamilton's 25-16 preseason loss to the Argos before talking about the return of Brandon Banks and the team's first round of cuts. After that, they discuss the non-Ticats preseason games and touch on some of the notable cuts and injuries that occurred over the last week. They preview the Ticats final preseason game against Ottawa this Friday and end things by answering a pair of listener questions.

Episode 42

Mike and Josh kick things off by talking about the upcoming CFL Podcast fantasy football league they have joined that will see them compete in fantasy football against seven other CFL podcasts.

Then they move on to the Ticats news, including Orlondo Steinauer's promotion to assistant head coach, Simoni Lawrence's contract extension and the curious case of Brandon Banks' absence from Ticats training camp.

After that, the boys touch on some CFL news which includes the rash of recent retirements, the Henry Burris extension in Ottawa, Jennifer Hedger's comments on Sportscentre and the ongoing Josiah St. John mess out in Regina.

Then it is time for a game preview. Yes, that is right, football is back and the gents breakdown what they are looking for in Hamilton's preseason tilt with the Argos this Saturday.

Then the guys welcome in a special guest as Josh sits down with the Hamilton Spectator's and 3DownNation's very own Drew Edwards to talk Ticats training camp, some general CFL stuff, beards and the night Drew met Mike.

Episode 41

Mike and Josh begin things by discussing an idiotic Toronto-area shock jock before they get into all the Ticats and CFL news of the last couple of weeks. They laugh at the amazing troll job Peter Dyakowski pulled on an unsuspecting CFL populace, talk about the Ticats signing a couple of kickers, recap and analyze the CFL Draft, talk about the new jerseys, discuss the Vernon Adams trade to the Als and what it means for the future of Rakeem Cato in Montreal, and end things off by answering a trio of questions from some loyal listeners.

Episode 40

Mike and Josh start the show by talking about how testy this offseason has been between fans. After that, they talk Ticats, including the hiring of Stefan Ptaszek as the team's new offensive coordinator, Eric Norwood's release and Zach Anderson's signing. They jump into some CFL news after that by discussing Jon Jennings' new contract extension, the furor over Chris Jones' day with the Grey Cup, the curious case of Terrius George's abrupt retirement and the future of the neg list and end things off by welcoming Justin Dunk of CFL.ca and 3DownNation to talk about the upcoming draft, his time with the Ticats and beards.

Episode 39

Mike and Josh discuss all the Ticats news that came out since the last time they recorded, including Tommy Condell's resignation, Peter Dyakowski's contract extension, the slew of signings the Ticats made prior to mini-camp and Hamilton's mini-camp itself (Note: the show was recorded on April 26, the day camp opened, so what happened at camp will be covered on the next episode.)

Then they tackle the CFL news, which includes the new rules for 2016, the officiating agreement between the NFL and CFL, the retirement of a trio of veteran players, the new CFL drug policy, the final scouting bureau rankings and the jersey unveiling set for May 12.

Then comes the real fun, where the two boys give some way-too-early predictions for the 2016 CFL season. Making predictions was all the rage this offseason, and Mike and Josh wanted to get in on the fun (and the ridicule).

Episode 38

Mike and Josh start the show by talking proudly about 3DownNation's ONAward nomination. They then get into the Ticats news, including Eric Tillman's promotion to general manager, Craig Butler's season-ending injury, Charles Clay's signing and the anger of Ticats fan over the team's moe to e-tickets. From there, it is on to a pair of league news items: the end of the Edmonton-Ottawa compensation dispute and Riders play-by-play man Rod Pedersen's much-too-early, though still insane, West Division predictions. The show ends as it almost always does, with the boys answering a trio of listener questions.

Episode 37

Mike and Josh cover a range of topics, including the possibility that Zach Collaros will be back for training camp, the re-signing of defensive back Emanuel Davis, whether the Ticats championship window has closed, Justin Hickman becoming the latest ex-Ticat to head off to Argo Land, the move by Chris Getzlaf from Saskatchewan to Edmonton, the chance that it might finally be Tebow time in the CFL, if all of Jim Popp's success can be credited to Anthony Calvillo and end things by answering three listener questions.
